For my trend I am using the book I am reading at the moment, The Lovely Bones as my starting point. I like the idea of the skeleton as a structure and the amazing things it can do within the body, but also the idea that as people we have aspects that make us all original and unique that you cannot touch.
This is an artist I have found that I love, the work I have found of his so far has been installations using the bodies of both people and animals. This is the rib cage of a gray whale constructed in the Museum of Modern Art. I love this structure because you can interact with it and walk with it.

I adore this illustration it's amazing. The detail is extraordinary and it is completely unlike anything I have ever come across before.

The blurry white portion over the head reminds me of the mind, this could be an effective way of illustrating it. |
