Embellishment- Derek Lawlor

In 6 days I am doing a shoot for my project so I have been looking for inspiration for the customizing of my jacket. The following work is by knitwear designer Derek Lawlor and I think it is amazing, from seeing his creations I am now full of ideas to stylize my jacket and make it look stunning.

Derek uses cord which is woven through the fabric to create the organic shapes which is what caught my eye with his collections. He is inspired by structure and architecture as well as body armour and sculpture. His work is innovative, exciting and luxurious.
